We found each other there.

We missed each other here.

We ate near the church

We sang in the park

We ran through traffic

We danced on the sidewalks around the corner

We took tea at this table and a glass of water at that one

We kissed in the terrace above the city

We played in the gardens of tranquility

We held each other on the bus and the subway

We walked without destination or rhythm

We said our hellos again and again

But we never said goodbye

And the map that we created long ago

continues living as my guide.

I hope it brings me to you again.
